2017 Class

Chris Grimm

2x All-American with a top score of 127.5. One of the founding participants of the league. Chris fell from the Ironman contest for the birth of his son, Hudson, which has long been known to be the only reasonable excuse for missing the draft. So don’t let him point a finger at you in case you do the same. Chris is currently in the highly contested Tin Cup race with Mr. Chad Becker. Chris is a loyal Hawkeye fan, but mostly just a fan of good wrestling. He once painted the Mets logo on his Driver and was known to hit 285 yard drives that never got 20 feet off the ground. Hasn’t seen the podium since 2004….some would say that’s a drought. He’d tell you that he’s just getting started.

Larry Goodnature

The ORIGINAL Donkey. Larry….aka…Hereford….aka….Gap tooth…..aka Goody has been a loyal enthusiast of the draft since the beginning. Larry is one of the 3 Donkeys who has actually sired a Donkey (Nate Goodnature)…I’m pretty sure that’s the Webster’s definition of a true Jackass. Although he hasn’t been consistent with his participation in recent years, he is looking to make a strong rebound in the years to come. A 2X All American, Larry is no stranger to success in the draft.

Eric Palmer

3x All-American with a top score of 142. Eric has been a staple in the process of the draft for many many years. Eric’s consistent ability to fill in the gaps each year when the chaos of the draft ensues has been lifesaving at times. A longstanding Draft Master, Eric has earned a degree in Draft Master training as he has been responsible for teaching the craft to many current longstanding Draft Masters. Once lost a bet to Larry Goodnature on a fishing trip which required him to bite the head off of 26 inch Walleye on the sunny shores of Lake Oahe. While it took him all of 30 minutes, he got the job done…which pretty much sums up who he is. Hobbies include cat throwing, carp killing, cross training, and cattle chasing.

Travis Carpenter

3x All-American with a top score of 139.5. The draft’s first and only DONKEY CZAR. Travis takes on the responsibility of keeping track of the toolbox each and every year in order to make sure it isn’t lost or stolen by one of the draft’s many enemies. Travis has been known to be great with a towel, or to randomly work security pro-bono wherever he finds himself. Known to many as Carpie, he’s known to us as a consistent draft enthusiast, draft master extraordinaire, an above average golfer, and someone you should be careful around. Hobbies include grabbing you and inflicting pain upon you without consent, and other various loud activities resulting in a consistent good time. Travis has only been below 99 points ONCE in his career. That’s pretty darn good.
