2023 Class

Brandon MacNaught

This is a man that wore the original Golden Headgear which has become an annual tradition for the St. Patty’s Drafters since March 21st 2015 in St. Louis.  This was the night that Big Blue, as he’s known to some, took a trip to the hospital for what turned out to be the longest night of his life.  Much to the surprise of most of us, somehow he did NOT require staples to repair the rather large gash that formed at the top of his head as a result of a well-timed footsweep in a room filled with sharp corners.

A long time contributor, draft master, and competitor, Blue has found the podium twice in his career, and has often been in the conversation for having a great team that usually finds a way to underperform in the end.  MacNaught has been a consistent member of the NY faction of the St. Patty’s Drafters and he is well respected for having terrific penmanship and an astute attention to details.

Nathan Schy

Mr. Schy has been a prominent member and contributor of the Draft since his first experience in 2013.  Nate has climbed the ranks quicker than most through his hard work and loyalty as a contributor and as a guy who is willing to go above and beyond to help out in the areas of venue reconnaissance, security negotiations, volume management, and overall entertainment quality control.  With his trademark feline shoutouts and his ability to read the room, Schy can usually be found at the front of the crowd analyzing best practices to ensure optimum debauchery.  For these efforts and skills, he has risen to the top.

At the time of his induction, Schy had already made the podium on two occasions within his first seven attempts. His ability to recognize talent coupled with his east coast insider’s knowledge have benefited him well.  As with most Hall of Famers, he has high standards set for himself in all three factors which brought him a green jacket, and we don’t expect anything less from him each and every year.

Brian McGraw

McGraw also joined the St. Patty’s Drafters crew in the Spring of 2013 and has become an integral part of the organization’s success ever since.  Better known as “Tug” to those who know him well, McGraw is the web designer, on-site troubleshooter, and the IT Department of our outfit.  Along with these duties, he is also our chief security officer and has a perfect record of maintaining overall peace and civility in times of strife.

McGraw has not seen the podium yet as a competitor, but he has been the recipient of the Golden Headgear award in the year where he decided to break in a new pair of cowboy boots that were arguably two sizes too small at the time.  He has since been known to wear Dudes as his exclusive choice of footwear and some even project that he may move on to moccasins.  His contribution as our website designer and facilitator has made him an invaluable asset to the team and we look forward to seeing him break through competitively one of these days.
