Brock Gast
Better known to all as “Squirrel”, Brock has been around since the early days of the draft. His first appearance dates back to 2004 as he placed 12th in a competitive field. Gast’s golden years were from 2017-2019 when he made a run as an All-American for three consecutive seasons, a feat which has never been matched. He is also well known for his consistent attempts at playing good chess, his uncanny ability as a hotel room takedown artist, and his unwavering attempts to hit the downtown scene at any given time.
Gast has proven himself to be a consistent mainstay with the organization and his unique influence on the group has been felt throughout the years. At the time of Gast’s induction he was wielding an average score of 110.47 which ranks rather high for a drafter with the longevity of which he has accumulated. Gast has also seen some success in the annual bean-bag tournament, rock-throw invitational, and any other ridiculous contest which arises out of thin air.
Greg Winn
Yet another NY influencer, Mr. Greg Winn enters the ranks as a Hall of Famer, as a result of his overall balance in the standards that earn the coveted Green Jacket. Winn has an outstanding record of longevity having been a consistent drafter since his first experience in Omaha circa 2010. He has also been a valuable asset to the organization as a reliable draft master on Thursday mornings, even the difficult ones. On top of these accomplishments, Winn is also a 2 time National Champion, joining Ron Perry as the only individuals to achieve such success.
Winn’s loyalty to his crew makes him a standout member of the St. Patty’s membership, and this quality was best displayed in St. Louis as he played nurse to Big Blue on the night of which the Golden Headgear was born. Through the thick and thin, the blood and guts, Winn can usually be seen in the midst of imminent chaos maintaining a steady calm. Known to some as the “Quiet Yankee”, Winn has truly made his mark on the organization and will no doubt continue in his efforts to bring pride to an already prideful outfit.
Corey Ruff
Ruff, like so many before him, began his journey with the St. Patty’s drafters as a first year All-American. He was 6th in the draft’s 4th year of existence reaching the podium in St. Louis in 2005. Since then, the steps of greatness have evaded Ruff, but what hasn’t is the relentless pursuit to get back there. Ruff is well known for his last second decisions to attend and his uncanny ability to crash on couches.
Throughout the years, Ruff has established himself as a reliable draft master, and as the resident shape shifter of the group. Having the ability to disguise himself as a Musketeer, a Chilean cab driver, or the younger brother of Jim Carey, Ruff has forged a legacy unmatched by most. An annual threat to either become the Donkey or an All-American, Ruff consistently remains an enigma wrapped in a soft shell taco.
